Former Manchester United striker Teddy Sheringham has urged Marcus Rashford to improve his form to be a role model for young players.
“Marcus Rashford has to look at the manager and think. ‘I like the way he talks, I understand what he wants and I’ve got to show that. Because he’s one of those guys who’s come through the youth system. Young players will look at Rashford and think, ‘If you show me what to do, I’ll do it,'” Sheringham told Best Offshore Sportsbooks.
“Rashford is a big example because everyone is looking at him. He used to be the team’s hope, but now he’s the one people look at and say. ‘He’s not doing that, is he?’ So Amorim has to get the most out of him. He’s not a youngster anymore.”
“And He’s an experienced player. It’s fun to go from a young player to the experienced player he is now. As soon as you have that experience. ยูฟ่าเบท http://ufabet999.app You look around the dressing room and see the expectations that are placed on you.”
“He’s played a lot for England and he can probably take that experience. But he hasn’t been able to do that at United. That has to change.”
Manchester United appoint Amorim as new manager and just got his work permit to lead the team in training for the first time
Sheringham believes the arrival of Amorim will help improve the quality of the players, especially Rashford.
